Tocci built prototype becomes first green hotel brand

For Immediate Release: April 22, 2008 Tocci Building Corporation, Woburn, MA. Just in time for Earth Day, Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc. announced that all the hotels in its new element brand will be green and apply for LEED certification.
Tocci was given the privilege of building the prototype for element last year and as we near opening day we are thrilled that our green initiatives have helped seal the decision that all future elements will go green! Happy Earth Day!

For Immediate Release: April 11, 2008 Tocci Building Companies, Woburn, MA. Tocci Building Companies is pleased to announce another LEED Accredited Professional on our team! Jaime MacFall our Virtual Construction Coordinator. Ms. MacFall interfaces with both Tocci’s preconstruction group and field personnel to utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) on Tocci’s construction sites.
She is very passionate about sustainability and LEED; she is an active member of the USGBC Affiliate ‘Deeper Green,’ and serves on Tocci’s internal committee for a Greener Office. While studying at Worcester Polytechnic Institute Ms. MacFall researched how BIM and VDC can assist in the LEED certification process.
