element Reaches LEED Gold Certification

by on Nov.17, 2008, under TocciNews

WOBURN, November 17th, 2008 Tocci Building Companies is pleased to announce that the prototype element hotel, which Tocci finished building in July, has achieved LEED Gold Certification. After an initial confirmation that the project would easily achieve LEED Silver certification, the final evaluation approved Gold level. This result is especially rewarding considering that the project was already several months into construction before the owner (Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc.) decided to pursue LEED.
